My win this week was going to bed angry last night. Usually if my husband and I have a disagreement, I stay up all night fuming while I can hear him snoring 0.5 seconds after we stop talking. Last night we got into a disagreement and I did some deep breathing, reminded myself that the disagreement doesn’t define me or our relationship, and I fell asleep in less than 10 minutes. This was a HUGE victory for me. Like, years in the making.
