Last night, I finished cleaning up

Last night, I finished cleaning up the kitchen post-dinner a little earlier than usual. I considered what I could do with the “spare” 20 minutes and when weighing if I should mop the floor or sit down and read a book for fun, I remembered time alone was much higher on my values list than having a spotless home! Feels like such a long time ago that we learned this pillar of aligning your time with your values but it still felt monumental to have that ah-ha moment, sit down, and read.
