Tonight, I felt a big win because

Tonight, I felt a big win because I think my values are starting to become second nature. It was bath night here and when it was my toddler’s turn, he asked me to play with him and we spent a good 15 minutes reenacting scenes of his favorite show (octonauts - so cute for anyone with littles!) with his bath toys. After we were done and my happy, clean kiddo was in pajamas I realized that I sacrificed cleaning the bathroom for playtime with him. And it feels really great. I am really proud that I didn’t have to second-guess what to do with my time like I would have before laying out my values and that it unfolded so naturally.
